Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made with Essex Country Parks, Essex County Council, County Hall, Market Road. Chelmsford, CM1 1QH for sessions on the Sky Ropes and Sky Ropes Junior high ropes courses at Great Notley Country Park.
1. Sky Ropes Rules
1.1 All bookings are subject to the Rules which apply to the relevant course. The rules are also displayed on site.
1.2 People who do not comply with the rules will not be allowed to take part. If you break the rules when you are on the Sky Ropes course you may be asked to leave and you will not get a refund.
2. Bookings and cancellations
2.1 If you find a mistake in your booking confirmation, you must let Sky Ropes know as soon as possible by calling 0345 603 7624 or emailing skyropes@essex.gov.uk.
2.2 If we need to cancel your session for safety reasons, we will tell you at the earliest time we can, and ask you to re-schedule your session for another time.
2.3 If you choose to cancel your session when the facility is operating, you will not receive a refund nor be able to reschedule your session at no cost. You can transfer your ticket to another person for the same date and time.
2.4 Payments made by debit or credit card will be refunded to the same card. Refunds will be given only if Sky Ropes decides to cancel your booking.
2.5 For group bookings and parties, if your reserved participant numbers do not attend, the activity total cost will still apply. You may only add extra participants if space is available and at additional cost.
2.6 Please read the terms and conditions of any special offer. If your numbers decrease the offer may be withdrawn.
2.7 Gift vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or existing booking. Vouchers will say when they can be used by and give the times and terms under which they are valid.
3. Liabilities
3.1 Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to or shall limit the liability of Essex County Council in respect of death or personal injury caused by negligence. Essex County Council shall not be responsible for death or personal injury, or loss of, or damage to any property arising from participation in Sky Ropes.
3.2 There is a parking area at the site. Any vehicle and its contents is left at the owner’s risk. Parking costs apply.
3.3 Nothing above shall confer on any third party any benefit or the right to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
3.4 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
3.5 The purchase/possession of your ticket shall constitute an acceptance by the holder of these terms and conditions and imply an undertaking on the part of the holder to observe them. In the event of any breach of these terms and conditions the organisers reserve the right to cancel your ticket and retain any monies paid therefor.
