Cressing Temple Barns: A Midsummer Nights Dream
The event by the Companye of Merrie Folke sees their return to the Cressing Temple Barns.
The year is 1600 (two years after Shakespeare wrote A Midsummer Nights Dream), so a very late Elizabethan year (she died in 1603).
A band of strolling players are trying to rehearse “A Midsummer Nights Dream”. Sadly, not all the cast have turned up so we may need to rope in members of the public.
