Mersea Island Festival 2025
The Mersea Island Festival brings together children, young people and adults with or without a physical or learning disability.
The festival provides an opportunity to try out new activities, make new friends and have loads of fun. We’re looking forward to seeing familiar faces, as well as some new ones, and to creating more great smiles and memories.
The camps are ideal for families, inclusive clubs, Phab and Gateway clubs and Youth Groups with disabled young people. Many of our more adventurous activities are for those aged eight and above but there is plenty for people of all ages to have a go at and enjoy.
Over 300 people come from all over the UK and sometimes abroad. Our team of volunteers are on hand to make sure everyone can have a great experience, whatever their ability.
2025 dates:
Week: Sunday 17 (evening) to Friday 22 August (pm).
Weekend: Friday 22 (evening) to Monday 25 August (pm).
Day visitors:
Places are available for day visitors on the Tuesday (19 August), Wednesday (20 August), Thursday (21 August), Saturday (23 August) and Sunday (24 August) of the festival.
Activities start at 10.00am. Day visitors can take part in all the onsite daytime activities and the evening entertainment.
