The Feelgood Music Project

Participants can choose to make music or be part of the 'crew' responsible for planning and filming the final piece - a music video to accompany a brand new original song.

The Music Team will write and record a brand-new original song. They will also have the opportunity to get involved in jam and writing sessions, outside of the main song. And those who want to, can appear in the video.

The Crew will explore all of the roles and tasks involved in being part of the technical team on a film set. This includes; planning location shoots, prop making, setting up shots, devising scenarios for the video, and much more!

Both teams will be exploring the theme of the project - ‘Feelgood’ - taken from the band Dr. Feelgood who originated from the Island. We’ll be looking at the musical heritage of Canvey Island, supported by our team of creatives, some of which are from the Island.
