Free family fun in the great outdoors this summer

Meet on the meadow at Danbury Country Park for some FREE child-led free play in the great outdoors, run by the Essex Country Parks Outdoor Learning Team.

Come with family and friends and bring a picnic lunch. Suitable for all ages.

Activities and equipment available for children and families to use and enjoy:

  • Hammocks
  • Den Building
  • Tarps
  • Mud Kitchen
  • Sweep Nets
  • ID charts
  • Squirrel Trail (short trail around the park looking for squirrel pictures – basic orienteering)
  • Water Play
  • Hapa Zome
  • 4 way tug of war
  • Slacklines

This is an informal drop-in session with no need to pre-book.
